Sample Video – Drew Dudley Speaking

Here is a sample video of some of my work as a public speaker. It includes footage from: 2 large keynotes: -McMaster University Orientation Leaders, September 2009, Approx 1500 people -Mount Allison University Orientation Week, September 2009, Approx 750 people 2 smaller lectures: -Dalhousie University Orientation Leaders, September 2009, Approx 100 people -University of Toronto Scarborough Student Organization Executive Training, August 2009, Approx 100 people (“Quo Vadimus” – Planning Projects and Events Effectively as a Group) 1 small workshop: “From Julius Caesar to Jed Bartlet: Leadership Theory Through the Ages”, October 2009, Approx. 25 people (as part of the University of Toronto Scarborough Leadership Development Program – www.utsc-leadership.ca) I wish I had high quality audio and video at this point, but I’ve actually only filmed about 8 of the 500 or so presentations I’ve done, and never done it with the equipment I should. That’s a project for this coming September! It’s also incredibly difficult to give an accurate “taste” of one of my presentations without including any of the “stories” that make them up…but I didn’t want to post them online and give them all away! Full details on available presentations and booking can be found on my website at www.drewdudley.net

Haiti: HIV/AIDS Rap Performed by Youth from MSH Leadership Program

A high rate of HIV & AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections combined with a lack of leadership to address the crisis in Haiti’s Cite Soleil area have resulted in a large population of disaffected youth who believe that this situation is hope¬less. As part of Management Sciences for Health’s “Leadership Development Program” funded by USAID in 2009, young participants from the Haitian NGO Maison l’Arc-en-Ciel (MAEC) learned that they can make a difference. In their rap song entitled “Apprends à faire face aux défis,” (Learn to Confront Challenges) they share what they have learned (in Creole with English subtitles).
